why i want to live in a hole.

...because bank #1, who has been so good for 10+ years, ruined it by cashing one check four times over. and made me overdraft twice, for a week each time, and i was unable to fix anything over the phone. customer service reps hung up, five different filed claims, and still it was something 'i should have taken care of'. it's taken three months to fix, and i'm still checking my account every single day in case somehow, my check will be cashed a fifth time, and overdraw me a third time.

...because the DMV submitted my check to be cashed four different times, in two different amounts. both times Carol Tackett in accounting was audibly annoyed that i was interrupting her day to point out a mistake, very kindly the first time, that i just wanted fixed. both times i called, it was my fault, and i 'didn't tell my bank what i told you to tell them' the second time. oh, i'm sorry Carol, i forgot that as the customer of both the DMV and the bank, it was MY job to fix your mistakes.

...because the IRS has an incorrect birthday listed for me somewhere, and will not accept my tax return with my CORRECT birthday.

... because bank #2 is missing three different transactions in my balance and rejected my debit card at the restaurant where i was trying to buy dinner for my parents and again at the atm machine.

...because my computer that got 'fixed' by geeksquad in december came back with an operating system that is not windows vista. or something. and i don't have the correct 'product code' to re-install the system and now my computer is somewhat crazy. and geeksquad told me i'd have to bring it back in.

...because during all of this, i have not been able to drive to these places and fix what needs to be fixed.

great news: i'm at my mom's house, and i get to have puppy kisses and cuddles for two nights in a row! i got my first check at the church- i'm a real counselor! it's snowing! and 100 other positive things that are going on right now... but it would still be nice if i didn't have to deal with banks, dmv's, and the irs- at least until i can walk. please?
