trust your instincts

(...where i go bday shopping for jnoble)

a dear friend of mine is turning 29. she's great, and to celebrate her greatness (and last year of her twenties), i want to put a lil' party bag together for her. my idea is to get her a pretty purse that is actually her gift, then fill it up with funny things that she could use on her nights out during her last year of her twenties...

nifty gifties inside the purse include: camo flip flops (for those nights when the heels are just too much); shout wipes (for the unexpected late-night snack spills), a pair of large sungalsses (for those mornings that are just a little too much), travel size deodorant and aleve (for those same mornings), and a bottle of jack and a toothbrush (for pristine dental hygiene, of course).

the most important thing, however, is the carry-all bag... you can carry anything you want (esp anything above) all night long- as long as you do it in style. but what style to choose?? thank goodness for camera cell phones, cause i would have been lost without enchelleada's affirmation of what bag was best. as it was, i had already picked up FOUR things for myself, and was there solely for a birthday gift for someone else. i was just so hesistant to pull the trigger and make a choice... i needed assurance, and enchelleada pulled through.

here were the choices i narrowed it down to: one, a cute but large bag wtih a faux bow in front or two, and two, a more covert, dressier bag with a shabby chic ribbon accent. i was leaning towards the stripes, but i wanted to double check with one of  jnobles' besties. enchelleada gave the thumbs up to the stripey bag too, so four items for kaci, two for jnoble, and i was done with the birthday shopping for the day.

  1. and it was PERFECT! i love the bag (and all the goodies inside) and can't wait to use it (them) sometime in the near future.

you know, when i'm in the mood for great dental hygiene that is...
