tomorrow evening, at 6:30pm, on lookout mountain, stephanie bewley becomes stephanie sikora.
i'll be there. cause i like steph, and cause she has asked me to do her wedding cake topper and her groom's cake.
pretty flattered that she would even consider me to do a groom's cake, let alone her wedding cake topper.
btw, her wedding cake is easy: just a quick 6 inch round, vanilla on vanilla, with white fondant. groom's cake, however, is going to be a bit challenging: a round, 3-D globe cake, as realistic as possible, with 22 different flags stuck in the (geographically accruate) countries the groom has been.
i hate geography.
i love cake.
i hate geography.
i love fondant.
i hate geography.
i love making cakes out of fondant that people love.
tomorrow i will be cake-ing all day, while waiting and watching my new stove get installed (cross your fingers, PLEASE), hanging out with my sister, running to hobby lobby, and getting ready for a wedding. perhaps i can send my sister to hobby lobby while i get ready: two birds, one stone!
i can't wait to see the finished globe cake. pictures to come!
in the mean time, check out this cute lil' thing:
I miss you!!! And I owe you a phone call :) xoxo Happy cake-ing! (love that term, btw!)
