i don't normally read celebrity gossip magazines. they are inane and completely stir up weird insecurities in me that i would prefer lie dormant. plus they are so gossipy and just...stupid.

i don't normally read horoscopes. they are also inane, and completely play on our susceptibility to suggestion. also, i don't believe that our futures can be told from the stars, or when we were born, or whatever.

and reading horoscopes in celebrity gossip magazines? rarer than... well, whatever is extremely rare; so rare i can't even think of it.

however, both of these silly things hold intrigue for me every once in a while: gossip magazines because i admit, it's sometimes fun to see what other people's 'realities' are and see what everyone is really wearing,  and horoscopes because they can be silly, and interestingly accurate every so often.

that said, in light of a current life situation, the horoscope in the 'life & style' magazine i arbitrarily read today was fabulously affirming....

"certain relationships shift this week. if someone's acting unfairly toward you, now'st he time to speak up- let that person know how you're being affected. meanwhile, a significant new relationship is on the horizon! don't let this one get away".
