Upcoming highlights of the week....

Westword Music Showcase this weekend: cannot WAIT. last year with jonnah, mari and melis was the best fun ever: hot day, long day listening to music and walking around different bars, running through the rain, wearing summer dresses and tons of people. i cannot wait! it's like the epitome of summer for me, and i'm stoked to ride my bike down to the festivities and hang with the girls, listening to great music. i'm even going to dare to wear a pair of SHORTS. if i can find some that fit... bands i'm stoked for: single file, kinetix, the knew, the northern way and boulder acoustic society; perhaps even tickle me pink and hello kavita, for ol' times sake.

Painting the house this weekend: correction, mom, the best mom in the world, is painting the house this saturday while i gallivant around town with said girls from above, listening to live music. how much better can life get? hopefully i'll have some energy that saturday evening to take mom out to dinner to thank her. mom, whaddya think?

Cleaning and shelf-papering the house: i love shelf-papering. i think it is one of my favorite OCD tendencies, and it only gets to happen once in a while. i found cute green and white paisley paper at target and will have a ball tonight cleaning and shelf-papering. yes, the nerd in me is alive- and happy :)

Church on sunday. church is my favorite. sundays are my all-time favorite days, especially in the summer, cause i can get up whenever i want, run however long i want, walk the dogs wherever i want, and then go to church and do whatever i want. no clients, no work, no plans. love it... love especially sitting on the porch in the sun with the dogs. hopefully ira the neighbor stops by to say hi :)

Baking cakes... more globe practice cakes for steph's wedding, and now a john deere/tractor cake for a coworker. love getting to decorate and have fun with sugar!

I am sure there are other highlights. at this point, church and westword music is on my mind....
