(...poor roomie)
my roommate is sick. and not the kind of sick where you stay home but really do other things sick, or the sick where you plug your house to sound stuffy when you call in kind of sick, but seriously, legitimately, puke every-time-you-move, not-seeing-the-natural-light-of-day-stay-inside sick.
poor girl.
i am not sick often, but when i am, man am i a big weenie. lil' roomie, though, she's a trooper. just doesn't come out of her room, stays in a little hibernation mode, and sometimes curls up on the couch in about forty two blankets with trashy tv like 'say yes to the dress' and such.
in the meantime, while she's inside, outside spring is spring-ing. flowers are blooming and trees are blossoming, and life is happening anew. it's rejuvenating, and the same way that colorado fall doesn't last long, neither does spring time. i want roomie to see the sights, smell the air and feel the breeze.
alas, she'd puke if that happened. so, inside of bringing her applesauce and powerade (her cousin and friend already did!), i brought her the next best thing: flowers to cheer her up.
