...just another office email

a coworker and i "joke" about poking our eyes out during long, boring meetings. now, nothing against our meetings- no matter what the content, any 3 to 4 hour meeting that bleeds into the late afternoon is going to make me want to poke out my own eyeballs. and how great that i can joke about violent self-mutliation within the meeting itself? can't be beat, i'm telling you.

on the heels of a particularly long, hard to follow meeting about strategic planning, i received the below email from a fellow coworker....

Matthew 5:29 ESV: If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell.

Brian 6:11: If a meeting causes you to gouge your eye out, do not throw it away. For it is evidence of how painful the meeting was and is admissible in court.

my coworkers are better than yours, you know it.
