dear fall,
thank you for staying so long in denver this year. it was just back in september that i was afraid i would miss your whole visit, the one week you usually show up. however, here it is mid november and you've just started packing up. i'm sorry to see you go- i didn't even mind helping you pack the 17+ huge trash bags of leaves you left. thanks for a great visit; you were fabulous this year! winter has already arrived- today, in fact, the snow wouldn't stop falling. although it's beautiful, i would trade shoveling snow for raking leaves any day. please know you are welcome at my house anytime. the dogs love you too.
